Muscat / Jabel Shams / Nizwa / Muscat

Day 01
Muscat – Jebal Shams: Morning proceed to batinah region, Visit Nakhl, home to a magnificent Fort eternally rising out of the Rocky Mountain and towering well above this small town. Visit one of the Date Plantations. Then onward to Ain towrah Hot Springs. Then proceed to Wadi Bani Awf of the road run through a narrow canyon with steep-sided cliffs. Water flows in interrupted streams along the canyon floor. The clients will have the chance to have short trek. After picnic lunch proceed to Nizwa crossing Western Hajar mountain range. The road winds through the cliffs, valleys & steep mountain walls. Then reach Jabel shams, the highest peak of Jabel Akdhar mountain range. Check in at Jabel Shams camp. The Jabel shams camp is set up by the edge of the great canyon of Oman. Enjoy Breath taking views of Jabel shams. Over night at Jabel shams camp.

Day 02
Trekking in Jabel shams
Meet the local guide at camp and proceed for full day trekking tour. Visit of the remote villages of Wadi nakar and Wadi Gul, then later back to Jabel shams camp. B.B.Q dinner and over night at Jabel shams camp.

Day 03
Jabel shams – Nizwa - Muscat:
Descend down to visit Bahla, the mystical village, once known for its black magic. But now the village is famous for Arabian Potteries. Visit one of the pottery making units. Later drive onwards to visit Jabrin castle, built in 17th century. The plasterwork, wooden carvings, painted ceiling makes this castle amazingly different. Then proceed to the village of Al Hamra & Misfah, one of the old villages in Oman. Al Hamra Falaj system has been added to UNESCO world heritage sites. They’re after before returning to Muscat, Visit the famous round tower fort of Nizwa probably the best fort architecture in Oman.
