Muscat / Ras Al Hadd / Wadi Bani
Khalid / Wahiba / Muscat
Day 01
Muscat – Ras Al Hadd: We depart by 4WD to
Ras Al Junaiz via the scenic and rugged coastal
route. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of
the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by
pristine white beaches.
After we drive past the fishing village of
Quriyat our first stop is the Bimah
sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with
blue green water at the bottom. Then stop at
fins beach, one of the beautiful white sands
beach.
Drive ahead to Wadi Tiwi. The road to Tiwi
winds between old houses. The sight is remarkable
with its lush green plantations and water flowing
all year around. Check in at the Hotel
At around 2000 hrs we visit the turtle beach to
watch the turtles nesting on the sands. Overnight
at the hotel
Day 02
Ras al Hadd – Wadi Bani Khalid -
Wahiba - Muscat: Check out of the hotel and
drive towards Sur: Once the costal town was famous
for Dhow building, Trading & seafaring. Then drive
on to Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises of
small pretty villages embedded in the mountains.
Drive on to the Wahiba Sands, a vast mass
of undulating red and white sea of sand and dunes.
The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a
photographers delight. Experience a roller coaster
like feeling as our experienced driver drive you
over the sand dunes. The Wahiba Sands is also home
to the traditional Bedouin tribe who are known for
their hospitality and their knowledge of the
sands. We will stop by a Bedouin family in their
traditional and simple habitat. Return to Muscat
at approximately 1900hrs.
